Rain comes, thunder strikes
Shattered roof that leaks
The old man comes to seal
But storm is the clouds will.

Daffodils sway with the wind
Beautiful petals left behind
Oh, when shall this storm cease?
Everyones looking for the skys peace

Cups are full of hot coffee and tea
Right where the lips needs to be
And when the old maiden sits on her chair
With her wool blanket she will be on her lair.

Childrens laughter is what i can hear
Singing and swinging without any fear
That thunder and lightning are on its way
So home they must be in this gloomy day

Ponds White Beauty Powder Finish Day Cream

Hi readers! Today, I'm going to make a personal review about Ponds White Beauty Day Cream (SPF15).
Since I have an oily skin, I make sure to buy and choose skincare products that are not too creamy nor too oily for my face. I was attracted to buy this since it  stated in its packaging that it has a powdery finish once applied. It also has SPF in it to protect you from harmful rays of the sun. Since it's in ponds' white beauty range, it promises to brighten the skin in just 7 days.

I bought this product in Watsons and
Ive been using this for almost a year now. Trust me when I say that their 20g packaging goes a long way. I put it in my entire face and neck. Even though I have oily skin, it can give me matte coverage after every application. I then followed it with setting powder to last that fresh look. What I noticed about it is that it also lightened the acne spot I had. It has Korean ginseng with saffron extract that is an antioxidant and good for skin. The fragrance smells like rose but it isnt that strong. It is also hygienic since you just press the tube for another cream. Overall, i rate this 5/5. Yey!!! :)

Make-up Set Story!

I don't like makeup before. I had the connotation before that makeup is just for maarti girls but when I started my new work recently, I had no choice but to put make-up on.😑

I started watching make up gurus in Youtube so I know what makeup/s to buy. Well, for starters, i want something effective yet within my means.

One sunday, i head on to hbc to buy the basics. And at that time, the basics I know are, primer (bb cream can do), foundation, eye liner, eye brow pencil, mascarra, eye shadow and lipstick.

I bought the smallest ponds BB cream,the light shade one. And then i picked the EB foundation stick (I thought that it can be a replacement once the BB cream fails). Then a sales representative comes and assist me in finding an eye liner, eye brow pencil, and eye shadow palette. For the eye brow pencil and eye liner, i picked the san san cosmetics. And then for the eye shadow palette, i choose EB again. It comes with five different shades which BTW I really like.

I bought the Nichido mascarra before and the Clinique lipstick was given to me by a friend. 

And yes the results was amazing! Hahaha. 😁 (comment down below if you want to see how I mix all these comsmetics in my small small small face!)

Kidding aside, there are a lot to learn in terms of make-up. There are a lot of words I hear such as strobing, highlighting, contouring which I all want to learn and hope to love. 

And yes, my first association with makeups and maarti girls is such as disappointment. I'm sorry. 😢
But I and everyone should always be reminded that good skin must always comes first. Clean canvass makes the painting worthwhile!

Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion Review

I've been using this cetaphil moisturizing lotion for almost a month and all I can say is that I'm loving it!  All thanks to my sister who bought this at Lazada.

Initially, the Cetaphil Cream variant is what she's looking for in order to treat her eczema and which her skin is used to. However there's no stock at that time so she just bought the lotion. She used it for 2 weeks but said her skin adheres more with the cream variant than the lotion so she purchase the cream once stocks became available.
In the label, it says that it is for all skin types with lightweigt hydration for everyday use. It also says that it helps restore skin's natural protective barrier, keeps skin moisturized and hydrated and its a non-greasy formula that leaves skin immediately soft and smooth.
After bath, I normally lather this on my skin. Honestly it feels a little sticky at first but later it begins to be lightweight. What I really like about this is that it is fragrance-free and non-comedogenic. Also, one pump goes a long way.
I still remember my friend who told me that cetaphil is only for babies, well I guess, its formulation is gentle but effective.
 I really have dry and flaky skin in my leg area, but after using this, i noticed it become soft and smooth. Also, I do have chicken skin in my arms and I wish that using this lotion will soothe them eventually. Fingers crossed. :)

When sadness and depression strikes..

According to WHO, as of April 2016 an estimate of 350 million suffers from depression. Most of them are women and unfortunately, some of them leads to suicide..

But what's the difference between sadness and depression?
I read that sadness is one of the many symptoms of depression. It is a normal emotion towards an unpleasant situation.
Depression on the other hand occurs because of traumatic experience like bereavement, unemployment, lack of social interaction and many more. It is the illness that needs medical attention.
When a person is categorized with mood swings, lack of interest and sleep, loss of weight and cannot eat, stressful and had reduced energy for at least two weeks, he may be suffering from depression.
It can be chronic and may take its lapses. Consultation from a clinical psychologist is advised. Co-curricular activities and positive reinforcements also improves their way of life.
It is better to be surrounded with people who will help him to see a bigger and brighter perspective.

Summer Escapade: Majayjay, Laguna

Majayjay is situated in Laguna Philippines. It is known for breathtaking waterfalls and natural breezy sensation. It is great for people with an affordable budget yet looking for a worthwhile summer vacation.

This is Japan's #1 Natural Exfoliating Gel. I found about this product last year from different bloggers. They raved about this and post a lot of good reviews so I decided to try it. I purchase this from Beauty Bar Trinoma at around 1,500 pesos. I know it's a bit pricey but its longevity and quality are really worth it. One pump is all you need to exfoliate your whole face and you only do it 2-3 times a week. So a bottle will surely last a lifetime!

The bottle itself is in Japanese but there is an English direction in the cover once you bought it (I peeled it already thats why its no longer included ^.^)

The direction is simple. Pump a small amount of Cure in you dry palm and lightly dab it in your face.

Do a circular motion and eventually you'll remove your dead skin cells. And last, wash away. ^.^
(You may also use this in your neck area so that the skin tone will just be the same)

I really enjoyed seeing my dead skin cells removed from my face. Its disgusting but I love seeing them. Haha.

But during the finale, everybody was shocked because Hanna was being dragged in the tower and that Dr. Rollins and Mrs. Dilaurentis/ Mary Drake ended the series with a lot of questions for the viewers. It seems that Charlotte was adopted by the DiLaurentis and that her mother, Mary Drake wants to revenge her daughter. This series is very interesting. It keeps the audiences hooked. No question that it is still running for its sixth season. It is unpredictable and has a lot of plot as well. The four liars spice up the season through new formed loveteams (Caleb and Spencer). Still #teamSpoby.

#2- How to Get Away With Murder
Season 1 was very entertaining. It shows different perspectives of Annalise and her students and her colleagues. It is very creative and it thrives on secret and lies as well. As much as I enjoyed the first season, I seemed to love the second as well. I get excited now on how the death of Wes father, Frank Mahoney can continue the adventures of Annalise and her subordinates in the search of their wrecked lives.

#1- Descendants of the Sun
This Korean action romantic drama offers new plot to the audience eyes. Not only are the charcaters so admirable but their script and scenes are overwhelming  Soong Joong Ki or Capt Yoo Shi Jin in the series, is a cool and manly soldier whose heart was captured by a surgeon in Haesung Hospital, Song Hye Kyo or Kang Mong Yeon in the series. How their lives are destined for each other will be the promising episodes for the series.

My Lazada Experience

I tried something different last week. I bought something through Lazada. (IKR im not a cavewoman anymore ^.^) 

So, i tried to add this some bloggers beauty essential (or so I thought!) Electric 5 in 1 cleanser in my cart (um its like a clarisonic mia or an olay pro x cleanser), however the the product was to be shipped from abroad. The delivery time is almost 2 months. Since I wanted it so badly i still decided to wait. 2weeks passed, lazada emailed me notifying that theres been some kind of problem about the process. And because of the delay, they give me a 200php worth of voucher  (yehey ^.^) so i decided to look for an item similar to what I first ordered and i found this pobling sonic cleanser. I put it in my cart then added the discount code last Sunday then I received the package this Tuesday through their Lazada Express courier.

Im super happy with the fast transaction  with Lazada. Btw, got no problemo with the product. I will surely purchase again!

Marks and Spencer Floral Collection China Blue Silky Talcum Powder Review

It was the Yuletide '15 when I received this M&S China Blue Talcum Powder. I enjoyed its heavenly scent and its sophisticated look so I decided to make it my first ever review in this blog. 

Truth to be told it passes its ultra fine talcum written in its back. And that is why it is so easy doozy to apply to skin.

Albeit I put this powder in the morning, I can still smell it in the afternoon when I get home. The smell is really refreshing and envigorating. But for some people who have a picky powder scent, they might find it strong..

Overall, i give it 5/5!!! :)
